Maintenance Fitter

Ausenco are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Plant Fitter to join our team on a six month fixed term contract. The role will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for completing planned, out of plan and shutdown maintenance at our Copper Concentrator.

Location is based in North West Queensland working 14 days on, 7 days off roster with FIFO available from Brisbane / Townsville or Cairns or bus from Mount Isa.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance tasks as requested in a timely manner to a required standard Ensuring planned maintenance is carried out with a view to delivering a sustainable plant Assist with any site-specific work as requested by Management Work closely within a small team to deliver key goals Be willing to step outside your role as part of your development

 Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Mechanical Trade Qualifications 3-5 Year’s trade experience In depth knowledge of equipment types, failure mechanisms and predictive technologies In depth knowledge of rotating equipment like drive systems, compressors, slurry pumps etc Basic Knowledge of Mineral processing – desirable
