About the Opportunity We are seeking a plumber who will be responsible for the maintenance work to Council’s building stock and other infrastructure. You will be apart of a high performing productive team who will also supervise the training and provide technical advice to apprentice plumbers.  Qualifications and Experience Essential:

Plumbing Trade Certificate Completion of a 4 year plumbing apprenticeship Class 'C' driver's licence.


Post Trade or Advanced Certificate in a related area Plumbers Licence Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations.

Remuneration and Benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

A competitive salary range of $1,082.80 - $1,212.80 (Grade 6) per week will be offered based on qualifications and experience 38 hour working week  Rostered day off (RDO) each fortnight Employee benefits such as leave entitlements, 9.5% employer superannuation contribution, Fitness Passport and gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
