Aerodrome Ground Handler/ARO/WSO

What you will do:

The Aerodrome Ground Handler/ARO reporting to the Aerodrome Supervisor, will be responsible for but not limited to:

Carry out daily aircraft ground handling operations; Ensure the airport’s ongoing operational compliance with relevant company, airline and CASA regulatory requirement, standards and practices; Undertake maintenance and cleaning at Christmas Creek Aerodrome ensuring that it is operated and maintained to the highest levels expected of the facility Display high levels of customer service when dealing with travelling passengers for all daily scheduled aircraft movements; Apply technical expertise in line with Airport Reporting Officer/Works Safety Officer duties as prescribed in CASA MOS 139 – Aerodromes, Chapter 10 and the Christmas Creek Aerodrome Manual. Undertake various tasks outside of aerodrome operations on Sat/Sun when flights permit

What you will require

To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience with Aerodrome Reporting Officer duties in line with industry standards with suitable industry experience in a similar role. Current experience in aircraft ground handling of F100, B712, A320 and B738 aircrafts. Demonstrated ability to achieve a high level of customer service. Demonstrated ability to use initiative, be self-directed and work under minimal supervision. Ability to undertake a detailed cleaning regime to a very high and auditable standard on all buildings and facilities at the aerodrome. Building and maintaining strong relationships with our residents, contractor groups and management team. Ensure timely delivery of regulatory compliance, risk and sustainability targets and KPIs’ Demonstrated safety leadership Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication skills. Having the demonstrated ability to liaise and interact with individuals and groups of varying levels of authority. High level of organisation skills and an ability to meet deadlines whilst managing multiple functions simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and associated costs and reporting functionalities. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. High level of commitment to the provision of quality services and contributing to a positive team environment. Demonstrated computer literacy with all MS Office suite of programs. Possess relevant qualifications or willing to undertake training to be able to be a part of and oversight aircraft ground handling for F100,717, 737 A320 aircrafts, ability to on-train for these types.
