Role: Mining Operator Excavators

Site: Cloudbreak

Roster: 2/1 (7 days, 7 nights, 7 RnR)

To operate mobile equipment at maximum efficiency, while maintaining safety, environmental and heritage standards, to achieve required operational targets for the business.

Key accountabilities will include:

Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with FMG values Comply with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis Meet daily operational targets Maintain assets to operational capacity Constantly strive to increase process efficiency

Qualifications and skills required:

Previous experience on CAT 6040 and 6060 is highly desirable Advanced Operator experience is preferred Large excavator production experience WA Class HR Driver's Licence Senior First Aid Relevant mobile equipment certification Demonstrated experience with earth moving equipment Mobile equipment operation in mining industry – desirable Ability to skillfully operate a variety of machines Ability to read mine plans Communication/ interpersonal skills -  two-way operation Basic computer skills Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regs Time management skills
