Principal Mine Geology Metallurgy

Perth Based - 5/2 roster

Perth based role with travel as required to support the site-based Technical Services teams to improve our geological, metallurgical and planning processes through standardisation of systems and through the coaching and mentoring of the technical teams across our operations

Key accountabilities will include:

Continuous improvement through the collation and analysis of data, and through the identification and implementation of initiatives that deliver increased value for Fortescue Optimise efficiencies between ore block definition, mining hygiene, processing, product quality and blending practices to achieve maximised margin Maintaining and auditing relevant company guidelines and standards

Qualifications and skills required:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Geology, Metallurgy or similar discipline and will have a solid understanding of mining operations and ore processing Extensive experience in Geology/Metallurgy/Processing management in the mining industry Demonstrated experience building positive working relationships with the ability to influence business outcomes in a networked organisation
