Electrical Supervisor

Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent in the Kings Valley OPF Wet plant, an opportunity currently exists for an Electrical Supervisor to join the team.

This role is located at Solomon on a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth.

Key accountabilities will include:

Hold statutory appointment as the Mine Services Electrical Supervisor, High Voltage Operator and be a Nominee for FMG's Electrical Installing Work Licence, as required by the Mine Safety Inspection Regulations 1995 Manage daily work packs and provide supervision to all Electrical, Communication, Refrigeration / Air-conditioning employees and  contractors under your control Carry out investigations into electrical accidents/incidents and report to the relevant authorities as required Fulfil the role of the Electrical Superintendent  in the Kings Valley OPF maintenance  team  during periods of their absence from site Ensure all electrical statutory testing and maintenance is carried out and recorded as required by your appointment

Qualifications and skills required:

Electrical Trade Qualification Current WA Electrician's Licence High Voltage Switching Certificate and previous appointment experience on Mine sites  Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems Current High Risk Work Licence endorsed - WP Experience in computer based maintenance systems - SAP- Essential, other maintenance  platform experience  can be reviewed Strong commitment to health and safety Strong leadership skills and previous supervision experience  preferred  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
