Systems Engineer

The Rail Communications team provide mission critical support to the FMG Train Control system and supporting radio networks. We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support both our maintenance an engineering teams.

Work Location: Fortescue Centre, East Perth

Roster: Monday - Friday

Key accountabilities will include:

Focus on safety; High capacity technical skills with the ability to adapt to new technology quickly. Ability to work with minimal supervision; Able to interface effectively with production customers; Willingness to participate in an on-call roster.

Qualifications and skills required:

Tertiary STEM qualification; Minimum 5 years’ experience in a production or engineering environment; Experience with Rail control systems or CIMPLICITY SCADA platforms; or Experience with virtualized control systems; or Expertise in Communications systems.   Our values drive our culture and performance through a strong focus on safety, family and determination.
