HC Driver

TRG Transport Solutions is one of Australia's leading transport companies, driven by innovation, timeliness and outstanding customer service. The company has continued to grow since its initial inception in 1994 and today are one of South Australia's largest wharf carriers.

TRG Transport Solutions has experienced significant growth over recent years, with the prestigious TRG vehicle fleet doubling in that time,  and as a part of that growth require additional experienced HC or MC drivers.

As a TRG Driver you will join the team as a casual with a view to permanency.  You will be allocated a TRG truck and be responsible for keeping it in immaculate condition. Initially paid by the Award, once permanent all our drivers are paid above award wages with overtime.

At this time we are looking for 3 different positions to be filled. Chicken Cartage afternoon/night shift - Terberg Shunt truck driver rotating shifts - Wharf Cartage Container work Day shift only. 

To be successful you will need the following:

For Day shift work:

  • Minimum 12 months recent experience as a Driver – HC or above

  • Experience driving in the Adelaide Metro Area

  • LCL - Container and multi-drop experience an advantage

  • Sideloader experience is highly regarded but not a requirement

  • MSIC and Flinders Ports Card an advantage but not a requirement - you must be eligible and willing to get these 

  • Ability to pass a Functional Capacity Evaluation and Drug and Alcohol screening

  • Be willing to work approx 38 - 45+ hours per week   

  • Available  Monday to Friday between 6am and 6pm 

  • 2 checkable work references essential

For afternoon and night shift work:

  • Minimum 3 years driving experience
  • Experience carting livestock an advantage

  • Ability to pass a Functional Capacity Evaluation and Drug and Alcohol screening

  • Be willing to work approx 38 - 45+ hours per week   

  • Available  7 days varying shifts

  • 2 checkable work references essential

For Terberg shunt/tug truck work:

  • Previous Tug/shunt truck experience an advantage

  • excellent reversing skills

  • team player

  • Ability to pass a Functional Capacity Evaluation and Drug and Alcohol screening

  • Be willing to work approx 38 - 45+ hours per week   

  • Available  on 7 day roster rotating shifts

  • 2 checkable work references essential
