An opportunity exists for an experienced Mining Engineer to join our Technical Services team. You will be accountable for providing mine engineering support and guidance to existing operations and new projects to enable the business to achieve and maintain safe, sustainable and productive operations.
Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, this role is responsible for developing medium and Life of Mine plans and schedules for the Maules Creek mine, providing mine engineering support to new projects including Winchester South, supporting the annual JORC process and assisting sites in developing annual budget plans.
Candidate Specifications Tertiary qualifications in mining engineering or related discipline Qualification as a Competent Person for JORC Reserves would be highly regarded Strong working knowledge of mine planning software and systems, specifically Vulcan and Spry. Superior skills in problem solving and strategic thinking. Sound written and verbal communication skills. Effective relationship building skills.
