Heavy Diesel Fitter

About our Client Rio Tinto operates the world’s largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. These assets include a world-class, integrated network of 15 iron ore mines, four port facilities, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure. Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.

About the Role WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Heavy Duty Fitters for ongoing FIFO roles at Mesa J

7:7 roster (day shift & night shift) FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Karratha Ongoing employment Potential to go full time with WorkPac Employee benefit scheme

About You

The succesful candidate will have experience carrying out maintenance, breakdown and fault diagnotics as well as field servicing on some of the below mchinery as a minimum:

Komatsu electric drive dump trucks (730E, 830E & 930E) CAT 793 dump trucks CAT 992 & 994 loaders Komatsu WA900 & WA1200 loaders CAT 16 & 24 graders CAT D10 & D11 dozers Hitachi 3600 & 5500 excavators Komatsu PC3000 & PC4000 diggers


Relevant Australian recognised trade certification 3+ years post trade experience WA C Class Manual Licence (minimum) Right to work in Australia Good attitude towards work place safety


HR Drivers Licence High Risk - EWP & Forklift Confined Space
